MobilCharta5

The aim of the project is to develop an innovative, sustainable, land-saving, climate-protecting and environmentally friendly mobility system (continuous, barrier-free and safe means of transport). The project area extends in a tangential brace starting from Hennef (area DB station with connection: Cologne, Bonn: mobility hub A) via the towns of Neunkirchen (portal mobility station) and Seelscheid (portal mobility station) to Overath (area DB station with connection Cologne, Gummersbach: mobility hub B).

AR/VR.nrw - Augmented und Virtual Reality in university education

AR/VR.nrw aims to integrate the key technologies augmented and virtual reality more strongly into teaching and research at universities and to improve collaboration in this area. Software is being developed for this purpose. In addition, exemplary learning scenarios will be developed and services for universities will be established to support teachers in the use and development of their own AR/VR teaching and learning content.

OMI

The OMI (Open Mobility Infrastructure) project creates a digital infrastructure consisting of three human-technology interfaces and a middleware. Local players can provide shared mobility services themselves via a self-service portal, and users receive an app in the form of the mobility assistant, which offers seamless access to the region's entire mobility services and turns the smartphone into a digital vehicle key.

Wine in Virtual Reality (Witality)

"Witality - Wine in Virtual Reality" represents a joint project of science and practice. The institutions involved in the project, Geisenheim University of Applied Sciences, Institute for Oenology (HGU), Bonn-Rhein Sieg University of Applied Sciences, Institute for Visual Computing (H-BRS), Pieroth Wein AG (PR) and DLG TestService GmbH (DLG), enable a close exchange between science and practice on the use of virtual reality (VR) for the sensory analysis of wine.

HyLeiT

In the HyLeiT joint project, research is being conducted into a new generation of electrolysis converters and electrical system technology for the energy supply of hydrogen electrolysis. The aim is to halve the system costs of electrical engineering from the grid connection point to the DC connection at the electrolyzer, taking into account associated operating costs and effects on H2 generation costs.

GaN-Highpower

The field of photovoltaics has been subject to enormous price pressure for many years, as falling feed-in tariffs worldwide make low component prices necessary to be able to manufacture and operate a PV system economically. At the same time, the demands on the functional diversity of the devices continue to increase (e.g. universal use in PV and battery applications, grid feeding, self-consumption and island operation, provision of grid services).

D’accord

More and more companies are shifting their business models to the Internet and using digital ecosystems as platforms. The COVID 19 pandemic has further strengthened this trend. However, data protection is perceived by many companies as a brake on innovation because there is a lack of knowledge and tools to implement the legal requirements correctly. The D'accord research project is therefore developing a so-called data protection cockpit.

E365 Maverick - Linked learning paths in the digital education space

The E365 Maverick project is a research project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), which is being carried out as part of a cooperation between Bechtle AG and Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. It is embedded in the overarching initiative "National Education Platform" of the BMBF.
