The Institute for IT Service (ITS) is a central academic institution of the H-BRS. The institute is responsible for the further development and operational management of the central university IT, linking it with a research and development component. Its tasks include the development and conception of IT strategies for the university management as well as the further development and operation of the central university IT, for example the university computer center, the university network and the central communication, lecture hall, media technologies.
