Objectives of the Institute for IT Service
Digitalisation and its effects on social, political and academic life are currently the subject of intense public debate. Over the next few years, they will pose wide variety of challenges for our university, particularly in the IT department.
The President’s Office of the university therefore resolved to lay strategic foundations by establishing the Institute for IT Service (ITS) as a central academic facility.
The Institute is responsible for the further development and operations of the university's central IT facilities, linking this task with a research and development component.
