Research focus: Life Sciences and Health
Life Sciences and Health is an emerging research focus that builds on the work within the Institute for Functional Gene Analytics (IFGA).
It includes biological research in the field of gene analysis, elucidation of the structure and function of proteins, cell biology and microbiome analysis. The DFG research programme CytoTransport aims to establish a permanent focus on research into cellular transport processes at the university.
The research focus Life Sciences and Health is supported by the IFGA and the interdisciplinary Life Science Research Centre, which is currently being established.
