How to loan media technology

Do you want to produce a video or podcast for teaching purposes, or offer your next class in a hybrid format but still need the necessary equipment? Then you've come to the right place! The videoLAB has assembled the appropriate technical equipment for instructors, staff, and students of Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg and offers it for loan. If needed, we also provide individual consultation and support.

Reservation

If you are interested in borrowing a device or set, please first contact the videoLAB to check availability for your desired period. Send an email to videolab@h-brs.de. Let us know if you would like a personal introduction to the equipment.

Service Hours

You can pick up and return the loaned equipment Monday to Friday between 9 AM - 12 PM and 2 PM - 4 PM at the videoLAB office (Room A173, Sankt Augustin campus). Appointments outside these core hours can be arranged via email. Pickup and return in Rheinbach are also possible; please inform us in advance if this is your preference.

Loan Duration

The loan duration is 5 days, except for equipment for hybrid teaching. This equipment can only be borrowed for the duration of a teaching session.

Library or University ID Required

As the media equipment is booked through the library, you will need a valid library or university ID card for the loan. Please note that currently, equipment pickup is only available in Sankt Augustin.
