In the workshop on the ARVR.nrw project on the topic of "Open authoring tools for collaborative virtual learning environments", the consortium around Dr Jens Maiero (H-BRS) was able to impressively demonstrate in the showroom of the Institute for Visual Computing (IVC) at the Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (H-BRS) how AR/VR can be integrated into learning environments in the future.

Gärtnern für den Umweltschutz: Neuer Citizen Science Versuch gestartet
Vergangene Woche ist ein neuer Citizen Science Versuch unter Beteiligung von engagierten Bürger:innen aus dem Rhein-Sieg-Kreis gestartet. Im Rahmen des Projekts KLUGER-Transfer untersuchen sie die Versorgung mit essentiellen Spurenelementen in heimischem Gemüse. Die Forscherinnen und Forscher, die das Projekt wissenschaftlich begleiten, konzentrieren sich bei der Untersuchung auf das Element Selen, da es durch den Klimawandel in der Zukunft zu einer Selen Mangelversorgung kommen kann.
