James Chamberlain says goodbye
The American gentleman James Chamberlain was always in a good mood and always had a sympathetic ear, and not just when it came to problems with the English language. Although he was a man of quiet tones, he was a formative element of the university, also in his time as Head of the Language Centre.

Lauchernte im KLUGER Citizen Science Versuch
Im April 2023 wurde das Motto „Gärtnern für den Umweltschutz“ zur Grundlage eines Citizen Science Experiments an der Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. Die damals eingesäten Lauchpflanzen wurden letzte Woche im Campusgarten geerntet. Der nächste Schritt: Laboruntersuchungen, um bestimmte Nähr- und Schadstoffe zu messen.

Verleihung der Förderpreise der Hochschulgesellschaft
Die diesjährige Verleihung wurde in der Aula der Steyler Mission durchgeführt. Insgesamt erhielten 21 Absolventinnen und Absolventen der Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg eine Auszeichnung für die beste Abschlussarbeit, darunter eine Laureatin und drei Laureaten aus dem Fachbereich Sozialpolitik und Soziale Sicherung. Wir gratulieren herzlich zu dieser Leistung!

Eröffnung des OBRS - Videos eigenständig produzieren
Ab sofort können Hochschulgehörige (Lehr-)Videos, Vorträge oder Präsentationen im voll automatisierten Filmstudio in der Bibliothek aufnehmen. Das One Button Recording Studio (OBRS) ermöglicht einfache Drehs ohne fremde Hilfe für Studierende, Lehrende und Mitarbeitende der H-BRS.
