Practical project to strengthen Deutsche Telekom's employer branding
The students developed ideas on how Deutsche Telekom can be strengthened as an employer, especially from the perspective of Generation Z. It was an interactive collaboration. Over the course of the semester, students and the Deutsche Telekom team met to discuss new ideas and progress. The project was set up as a competition. That means several groups of students were formed and they competed against each other with their ideas at the end of the semester.
The final took place on 10 July 2024 at the Telekom headquarters in Bonn. Five teams presented their ideas. The topics developed by the students included hackathons, e-sports events, tech challenges and camps. The jury, which was made up of Deutsche Telekom employees, listened attentively and asked detailed questions about each presentation. After a break for deliberation, it was clear that the "Telehack" group (core idea: organising a hackathon in various European countries) had won. The team members received a certificate and a prize.
