Sustainable Social Policy (BA)
International in the Sustainable Social Policy (B.A.) Degree Program
As a student of the Bachelor's degree program in Sustainable Social Policy (B.A.), you have the opportunity to study abroad for a semester starting in the 5th semester and to complete the practical semester abroad.
In cooperation with the International Office, we support you in finding the right partner university and support the academic aspects of the exchange. The department maintains a large number of collaborations with foreign universities (for example in Estonia, Tanzania and South Korea) and practical partners as part of the "Get Balkanised" internship program (e.g. United Nations, Friedrich Ebert Foundation).
Once the decision has been made to go abroad, many more questions arise: Which university should I choose? Which courses can I take? Can I have my credits credited? How do I finance my stay abroad? All of these and other questions about your stay abroad can be discussed and clarified in a personal meeting.
At the beginning of the winter semester we are offering an information event on the topic of "Studying and internships abroad - opportunities, applications and financing". A presentation on the topic and a list of the department's partner universities can be found in LEA under "Sustainable Social Policy >> International". In addition, some module events are offered in English (see module handbook). Further information is available from the university's International Office.
"The opportunity to go abroad for a semester or an internship is strongly supported and encouraged. I will be doing my internship this year at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) in Albania. I am looking forward to the great experiences that will certainly not only develop my own personality, but will also enable me to put the professional skills I have acquired during my studies into practice."
