New Year's Trivia 2023 by Start-up-Manufaktur

From 9 January 2023, it's back to business! For the third time in a row, you can start the new year with riddles and prizes. From 9 to 20 January 2023, we will post a new question every day, whose answers will be used to find the solution word. You have the chance to win one of three coffee-sets, including a foldable coffee mug from the start-up up2u and matching coffee from BLÆK.

Start the new year with a success? No problem! Simply win one of the prizes in our annual New Year's Trivia and 2023 is off to a great start!

Our Trivia Challenge enters its third round and, as always, the ten questions are all about start-ups and our support services - for one or the other question, it's certainly worth taking a look here on our website. And in the end, everyone is sure to have learned something they didn't know before!

Starting on 9 January 2023, there will be a new question here every day for a fortnight. Look for the answers in the word grid and circle them there. Finally, you have to put together the solution word from the letters that overlap in the word grid.

The answers can be found in all possible reading directions: from left to right, from right to left, vertically, horizontally and diagonally. We will post the last question on January 20th.

How to participate

You have until 23 January to send us the solution by e-mail to Christoph Krieger (christoph.krieger@h-brs.de). We will draw three winners from all correct entries to win a surprise package from a start-up company.

Terms and conditions

The competition is a promotion of the Start-up-Manufaktur, an initiative of the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and SMEs (CENTIM).
Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries per person, or per email address, will not be accepted.
All members and alumni of the Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences are eligible to participate. Participants with limited legal capacity, in particular minors, require the consent of their legal representative to participate in the competition.
CENTIM staff and other people who are directly or indirectly associated with the trivia are not eligible.
The winners agree that the data collected (name, e-mail address, university affiliation) will be stored for the duration of the promotion and will only be used to send the prize if necessary. The data will not be passed on to third parties and will be completely deleted after the end of the campaign.
Winners will be notified by email no later than Monday 30 January 2023 and must then email christoph.krieger@h-brs.de no later than Monday 06 February 2023 (23:59) to confirm acceptance of the prize. If someone does not get in touch by the date/time mentioned, the claim to the prize will be forfeited without compensation.
