H-BRS Delegation visits NTNU in Trondheim and Ålesund
During the three-day stay in Trondheim, there was initially an exchange with representatives from the Department of Biomedical Laboratory Sciences, with whom there has been a successful collaboration for almost 20 years. Challenges related to the transition of the Applied Biology curriculum were discussed, along with potential adjustments to the course offerings necessary to continue facilitating successful student exchanges.
Furthermore, new contacts were established with representatives from two master's programs and additional bachelor's programs. The emerging connections in the field of biotechnology appear particularly promising, spanning both bachelor's and master's programs as well as research activities. In the Chemistry program, future emphasis will be placed on collaboration in projects and the exchange of project students.
In 2024, representatives from H-BRS plan to focus on the contractual implementation of the new collaborations. The new exchange options are expected to be offered for the first time in the 2024/25 academic year for students going to the Norwegian partner university.
The visit by NTNU colleagues to H-BRS is expected to take place in the summer or fall of 2024.
