Where can students who want to start a business find advice at H-BRS?

Advice, help and support are available in many places at the H-BRS. The most important contact points for advice at the H-BRS are the CENTIM, the ZWT, the BusinessCampus (BC) and the ISI. All institutes support students who want to start a business with various offers, such as consulting or work spaces.

Where can venture capital be found?

Venture capital (VC) is available in many different places and through many different providers, such as the High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTFG). CENTIM itself cannot offer VC directly, but can access a VC network and refer to these offerings.

Are you looking for networking support or would you like to know what is currently being organized in the region? Business idea and business plan

CENTIM helps students who are willing and interested to start a business with various instruments. It offers contact with their specialists within the framework of consultation meetings. Furthermore, the CENTIM supports the development of business ideas as well as business plans and helps to design a monetization model. Due to the integration into different networks, CENTIM is usually able to offer adequate solutions even for special requirements.

Project acquisition and management

The ZWT supports university members in project acquisition, especially of public funds, and in project management. The scholarship programs EXIST and Start-Up NRW are particularly important for those interested in founding a company - they offer up to € 250,000 in grants for good projects. The ZWT prepares the applications and accompanies the project implementation.

Corporate Social Responsibility

The ISI designs inter- and transdisciplinary teaching concepts, research projects and consulting services. The institute pursues a novel integrative approach by including economic, political and psychological aspects of social innovation and corporate social responsibility (CSR).
