Technology Transfer and Acceptance
In the research field Technology Transfer and Acceptance technical solutions for ecological and social challenges are investigated concerning their effects on society, economy and ecology.
By analysing quality press, surveying focus groups, individual interviews or group discussions, the acceptance of novel technologies is examined. The analyses provide important indications on why certain technologies are not successfully adopted by society or seem to be problematic and why others are particularly successfully integrated. The results can be used i. a. to develop communication strategies for confidence-building measures.
