Degree programme-related surveys

First-year student survey and survey of the higher semesters

The degree programme-related surveys are intended to examine the general conditions and the organization of the courses with regard to the courses offered, the advising and support situation, the equipment as well as the personal study situation and the study requirements of the students. They take place every semester. First-year students and students in the higher semesters (usually in the 5th semester in Bachelor's programmes and in the 3rd semester in Master's programmes) are surveyed. A standardized questionnaire is used throughout the university.

The Student Survey in Germany

In cooperation with the DZHW, "The Student Survey in Germany" was held for the first time in the summer semester of 2021, which also included the nationwide student survey.

Alumni surveys

Furthermore, all former students – regardless of whether they graduated from Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences – are invited to report on their experiences at the university and their further course of study and career. The goal of the surveys is also the continuous improvement of the study offers and conditions as well as the examination of the fit of the study offers to the later professional activity.

Graduate surveys

The graduate surveys are intended to provide an overview of the current professional situation and the professional career of graduates in the first period after graduation. They take place within the framework of the project Graduate Surveys Bonn-Rhein-Sieg.

Former student surveys

The focus of the former students' surveys is on the topics of dropping out and changing universities. The survey examines the factors that encourage students to drop out of their studies or to change universities, and what measures the university can take to ensure that as many students as possible successfully complete their studies.
