The H-BRS is growing - new construction projects from 2016 onwards

In the 21st year after its founding, Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg is opening a new chapter in its history: Construction work begins on extensive expansions at the Sankt Augustin and Rheinbach campuses.

Since the first foundation stone was laid in 1995, the originally planned 2,500 students have now grown to around 9,000. Ten research institutes drive application-oriented research and cooperative doctoral studies.

With the extension buildings at the Sankt Augustin and Rheinbach sites, the university is excellently positioned for further, sustainable growth. In addition to rooms for teaching and administration, the Center for Applied Research (ZAF) has created a completely new structure for collaborative research between regional companies and the university.
