H-BRS receives quality seal for internationalisation
The audit was initiated by the HRK in 2009 to support German universities in the strategic orientation of their internationalisation goals. The seal of approval recognises the university's internationalisation activities to date and provides concrete recommendations for the further development of its international strategy. This makes the university one of only 54 German universities nationwide that have undergone an independent review of their internationalisation activities. The audit is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
The experts attested that Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg already has well-functioning internationalisation services, such as the International Office and the language centre, as well as remarkable projects and degree programmes in the departments. Despite its young history, the university can already boast considerable internationalisation activities, which should, however, be expanded in the future. Further discussion of the recommendations will take place in the relevant university management committees and in the presidential commission responsible for international affairs. Important recommendations will be incorporated into the next university development plan.
