Successful at the ManagementCup
Together with around 9,000 other participants from over 260 universities, 17 members of Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg also took part in the first WirtschaftsWoche Management Cup in September. Half of the participants were eliminated from round to round, with around 1500 reaching the final.
Though it was not enough to win individually, the Management Sciences students lifted "their" Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg to tenth place in the university rankings, outperforming all other universities in NRW. The next best-placed university in NRW is RWTH Aachen University in 19th place.
The success rate for reaching the final is also particularly pleasing: while on average less than 20 per cent of the participants from a university reached the final, almost half of the students from Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg reached the final round.

The business simulation is a course offered in the fifth semester of the Business Administration degree programme.
