Counselling for People with a Refugee Background
What can I study at the Hochshule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg?
How do I apply for a degree program?
What German language skills do I need for my studies?
- If you are interested in a German study programme you need very good knowledge of the German language in order to take up studies in German. Information on the recognized German examinations can be found here (only in German): DSH-Prüfungsordnung.
- If you do not yet have sufficient German language skills, you can apply for a German course.
How do I know if I can study with my School-leaving certificate?
- Before you apply, you can check on the following page if your secondary school leaving certificate qualifies you to study: Requirements (DAAD) and Datenbank Anabin.
- If you have a so-called "indirect higher education entrance qualification" (a certificate with which you cannot study directly at university), you can attend a Studienkolleg. There you will take an "assessment test". You can find an overview of Studienkollegs in Germany here: hier: Studienkollegs in Deutschland
