Kick-off meeting for the intensive German C1 course: it leaves you wanting more!

This course, which comprises 24 teaching units per week for one semester, is organised by the International Office and the Language Centre. It offers German lessons at C1 level and preparatory workshops. The course concludes with either the Digital Test DaF or telc C1 Hochschule, both exams that qualify students to study at our university.

This course started on 10 March with an all-day kick-off meeting organised by Nele Eing (IO) and Stephanie Cramer (SPZ). It offered 21 students from 10 different countries the opportunity to familiarise themselves with their fellow students and lecturers as well as the course materials. Ms Eing provided information about the services and support offered by the International Office.
In the afternoon, Christina Kaiser introduced the e-learning platform LEA and Jairo Compostela gave the students a very engaging tour of the library.
In the remaining three weeks until the start of the course, the students can now use extensive resources to start the course well prepared. Everyone involved is looking forward to the learning time together.
