Welcome to the MBA Programme in CSR & NGO Management at the Department of Economics of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University (H-BRS)

We are looking forward to welcoming you to the introductory event at Campus Sankt Augustin on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 10:00 am. The end will be approximately at 03:30 pm. The introductory courses will commence on Thursday, September 14, and will run until Monday, September 25. All courses during the introductory week will be conducted online via WebEx, and attendance is mandatory for all MBA Programme starters. You can find the latest updated version of the MBA semester schedule for the winter semester 2023/2024 in your E-Campus course folder on LEA (access information will be provided to you after successful enrollment) as well as in the attachment of your information email for the start of the semester. There, you will also find the links to the respective online sessions.

Program on the Opening Day (September 13, 2023)

Below you will find the schedule for your kick-off day on September 13:

10:00 am - Welcome Session & Onboarding

1:00 pm - Lunch Break

2:00 pm - Introduction to IT Systems and Student Accounts

3:00 pm - Concluding Q&A Session and Farewell

Preparation for the Welcome and Introduction Days

Welcome Event (September 13): Please bring your student ID, passport, personal laptop/notebook, and the IT access information sheet containing login details for your student accounts to your first kick-off day (the latter will be provided after your enrollment). Writing materials for your personal notes will be provided. Kindly bring some cash (approximately 10 euros) to charge your Student ID card in the cafeteria and use it for payment at the dining hall counter. Light refreshments (snacks and drinks) will be provided during the Opening Day.

Introduction and Pre-Courses (September 14-22): You are welcome to bring your laptop/notebook to your seminars as there are sufficient power outlets available in the seminar rooms. Alternatively and/or additionally, please bring your own writing materials for your personal notes. Always have your student ID with you to access the campus facilities and services. Course materials in the form of scripts and books will be distributed before or during each seminar, usually via your LEA E-Campus (access requires a password).

Furthermore, all essential information is available in our "Welcome information for MBA Starters" E-Campus folder on the university's online learning platform (LEA). Please familiarize yourself with it promptly, as you will find additional information about the study start and the first weeks of your MBA program here. You will receive the LEA login details immediately after your enrollment.
