Cooperative study
The four-and-a-half-year training programme is a combination of vocational training and study - and is often referred to as the ‘silver bullet’ of an apprenticeship. This is because it combines theory and practice much more intensively than a traditional degree programme can guarantee.
Better safe than sorry
The close link with the company in which the in-company training takes place promises excellent career opportunities in this company. The training contract guarantees an income from day one and therefore financial independence.
The degree programme lasts nine semesters, of which two semesters (1st and 2nd semesters) are intended for the first part of the practical vocational training and seven semesters (3rd to 9th semesters) as study semesters.
The seven semesters (3rd to 9th semester) of the Bachelor's degree programme in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (Cooperative) correspond to semesters 1 to 7 of the Bachelor's degree programmes in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Sustainable Engineering. The practical semester in semester 7 and the Bachelor's thesis in semester 9 take place in the respective industrial and commercial companies.
