International Office
Intercultural Activities for Refugees Participating in the Language Courses of The International Office during the Summer Semester.
The B1 course participants visited the House of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bonn, an emotional but very informative historical trip to the most important stops in the modern German history.
The B2 course participants visited Beethoven-Haus in Bonn, which has enlightened the participants about an older historical period in the German history, focusing more on the development of cultural production rather than major political events.
Participants from both courses attended a closing dinner at a restaurant in Bonn, where they have shared more of their experiences among each other’s.
All these activities were attended by either employees of the International Office or by scholarship holders of the International Office; sometimes both. Our scholarship holders have already started their studies, and they have shared their experiences with the language courses participants who are actively pursuing their goals of becoming enrolled students at the University.
The courses and the activities are offered as part of the NRWege Programme funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
