Digitisation has just been given a further boost by the coronavirus pandemic and is transforming more and more areas of social, economic and private life. This opens up great opportunities in a wide range of areas such as the design and development of digital applications and technical assistance systems, automation and digitalised administrative processes
The Cyber Security & Privacy bachelor's degree programme at the Department of Computer Science provides a solid grounding in the fundamentals of computer science and offers a wide range of specialist topics in cyber security and privacy. Practical content is taught by professors from Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, experts from the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and the Fraunhofer Institute FKIE. In the modules Introduction to Information Security, Data Protection, IT Law and Privacy, students learn the basics of IT security.
