Information on Final Examination in the summer semester 2024 and Admission to a Master’s Degree Programme in the winter semester 2024/25

Final examination by 31.08.

Students who expect to complete their Bachelor's/Master's degree programme in the summer semester 2024 and do not intend to continue their studies at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg must have successfully completed their studies by 31.08.2024. If the colloquium or final exam assignment (including Bachelor thesis as final exam)
can not be completed by the end of August, the student must re-register in full for the winter semester 2024/25.
These students will be de-registered automatically by the end of the winter semester (28.02.2025) unless otherwise applied for earlier de-registration.

 

Starting a Master’s programme

Admission-free (NC-free) Master’s programme
Students who intend to start an admission-free (NC-free) Master’s programme in the winter semester 2024/25 need to re-register in full. The final grade of the Bachelor’s degree must be available by 30.09.2024.
If the awarded degree does not meet the necessary requirements to start studies in the Master’s programme (e.g. minimum grade, specific ECTS) students have until the beginning of lectures to submit an application for de-registration and an application for reimbursement to the Registrar’s Office. Please note that no refunds are possible after the start of the lecture!

Admission-restricted Master’s programme Marketing
The application deadline for German nationals, EU and EEA nationals, and applicants treated as equivalent to German nationals is 15.07.2024 for the winter semester 2024/25. For this applicant group, the Bachelor's degree including the average grade must be submitted by 31.08.2024.

The application deadline for applicants not treated as equivalent to German nationals is 31.03.2024 for the winter semester 2024/25. For this applicant group, the Bachelor's degree including the average grade must be submitted by 30.04.2024.
