Information for Students

At H-BRS, we place a high value on teaching. For this reason, we founded the Centre for Teaching Development an Innovation (ZIEL). We offer all lecturers at H-BRS the opportunity for further training in higher education didactics through workshops and other formats in order to constantly improve teaching. However, we are also represented in the international context, through research contributions (Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL)), conference visits, and international workshops held or attended as part of partner projects with other universities, to ensure that our teaching is always up to date.

In addition, at ZIEL, various working groups of lecturers work on higher education didactic topics in order to enrich teaching at H-BRS.

In doing so, we are always accompanied by our mission statement "Leitbild Lehre" as our fundamental understanding of good teaching, which leads to the best possible learning environment for students.
