Writing skills are important requirements for a successful university degree. However, writing in higher education is an extremely complex process that requires information and media competence in addition to explicit literary skills, since academic writing usually means condensing scientific sources into one's own argumentation.

In order to accompany students on this path, we would like to bundle the expertise available at the university from the areas of writing didactics on the one hand and media, information and e-learning didactics on the other, and enter into an exchange with as many colleagues as possible about the design and further development of suitable learning opportunities, such as more writing-intensive subject-specific teaching. In this context, best practice examples should be just as interesting as formats that have not worked.
