Study abroad semester

As part of the Bachelor's degree programmes at the Department of Management Sciences, it is possible to complete a semester abroad, for example at one of the partner universities of the department. During the study semester at a foreign university, students should gain international experience and familiarise themselves with the relevant course contents at a foreign university.

The department has numerous partner universities in other European and non-European countries. However, a semester abroad is also possible at a non-partner university if the study programme has been checked and recognised by the department in advance.

Students can also study abroad for longer than one semester and, for example, obtain a degree from the foreign university (for example after a two-semester stay).

Programme-specific regulations for study semesters abroad:

The regulations regarding admission to a study semester abroad, the procedure of a study semester abroad and the recognition of coursework completed at the foreign university vary depending on the degree programme. The regulations are documented and can be found in the examination regulations of the respective degree programmes.
