University honoured for auditor apprenticeship
Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg has once again been recognised for its outstanding teaching in the field of auditing. In the Manager Magazin ranking, the H-BRS achieved seventh place nationwide in the universities of applied sciences category. More than 80 auditing firms and over 1,200 of their clients took part in the biennial survey "Germany's Best Auditors". The university achieved this ranking back in 2020. Compared to the ranking at that time, it was even able to improve its score to "very good".
"We are very pleased that we are once again among the top ten universities under the conditions of the last four online semesters," said Professor Wilhelm Schneider, who holds the Chair of External Accounting and Corporate Taxation in Rheinbach. "We would also like to congratulate our long-standing cooperation partner, Aachen University of Applied Sciences, on their second place," he added. In the "Qua-Arc" (Quality in Accounting - Aachen Rheinbach Community) project, there has been a cross-chair collaboration between H-BRS and FH Aachen for several years, with the aim of preparing students perfectly for later professional practice
With the Top University of Applied Sciences seal, the university has now demonstrated for a further two years that it offers future auditors an excellent academic education.
The aim of Manager Magazin's ranking is to provide prospective students with guidance when choosing a university. The study was carried out together with Dietmar Fink from the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Management und Beratung (WGMB). Fink is also Professor of Management Consultancy and Development at H-BRS
