2+2 Programme

Getting a double degree within four years

Our Cooperative Study Programme (2+2) is a special offer to prospective Chinese students. In cooperation with the Hunan University in Changsha you are given the chance to obtain two degrees in Business Administration after four years of study, one from Hunan University, one from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University (H-BRS).

The first two years of studies are located at Hunan University and encompass fundamentals in Business Administration and intensive studies in the German language. The second phase of studies takes place at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University, encompassing comprehensive studies in Business Administration as well as further studies in the German language. After graduating in four years you will be a specialist in sustainable management and intercultural communication and be proficient in two foreign languages. This offers you high career prospects and qualifies you for enrolling into master programmes all over the world.

Entry Requirements

Students of the cooperative study programme have to pass a highly selective admission process in two steps.

First, all applicants have to be enrolled in Hunan University after successfully passing China’s central university admission examination (“gao kao”). This ensures a high academic quality of all the applicants as Hunan University belongs to the top universities in China (HNU being, for instance, participant in the government excellence programmes “211” and “985”).

Second, applicants need to pass a written and an oral test in the English language, supervised by faculty members of H-BRS.
