What does it mean to be trans? Not identifying with the gender you were assigned at birth? What happens when people set out to change their attitude to life and their bodies?

Directors Imogen Kimmel and Doris Metz accompanied seven transgender people and a renowned Munich surgeon. Their film ‘Trans - I Got Life’ is a sensitive account of the journey between the sexes. ‘What we learnt was humility. What we want to do with the film is celebrate humanity in all its diversity,’ they say.
