Registration and Enrollment

Each new student has to enroll at the university at the beginning of their studies. Once the enrolment process is completed you are officially a student and have full access to all university amenities, for example a student ID or the semester ticket; you will be able to participate in classes and take exams. Prerequisites for enrolment include the payment of the semester fee and proof of health insurance. The procedure takes place at the Registrar’s Office on Sankt Augustin campus. You will receive information about the necessary documents in your letter of acceptance. Please keep in mind that your enrolment has to be renewed at the end of each semester and that you have to re-enroll with payment of the semester fee.
