On the occasion of Fairtrade's "Change Fashion" campaign, Diversity Management is organising a clothes swap this year.

Participants can bring along their clothes that are in good condition but no longer worn. From 12 - 2 pm you can browse through the clothes, discover new favourite pieces and take them home for free (even without swapping). All clothes not collected at the end of the event will be donated to the Neighbourhood Assistance Sankt Augustin.

We will accept clothing donations from 12.00 to 12.30 p.m. in front of the cafeteria on the Sankt Augustin campus.

10 years ago, on 24 April 2013, the Rana Plaza building in Bangladesh collapsed, killing over 1,100 people. This incident is a tragic example of the conditions under which many workers in the garment industry have to work. On the occasion of this collapse, Fairtrade is campaigning for a fair and sustainable textile industry through the "Change Fashion" campaign. The petition calls for a focus on ecological sustainability and social justice in the fashion industry.

As a Fairtrade University, we at the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg actively promote fair trade and sustainability and participate in Fairtrade's campaigns to raise awareness of these important issues.
