PhD-Student representatives

In the second general assembly of PhD students on October 8th in Sankt Augustin the PhD students appointed from their ranks two PhD student representatives, Mr. Sebastian Ginzel located in Sankt Augustin and Mr. David Frommholz located in Rheinbach.

Mr. Ginzel studied at H-BRS Department of Computer Science and he is working on a topic in field of Bioinformatics under the supervision of Prof. D. Ralf Thiele. Mr. Frommholz is a member of scientific staff in the Department of Natural Sciences and is researching on a topic in Immunology under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Harald Illges.

The PhD representatives will serve as contact persons for PhD students, scientists and the Graduate Institute. The term will last until the Graduate Institute Statute (“Satzung des Graduierteninstituts”) has been published.
