Where do the best graduates come from? Universum Communications and access KellyOCG surveyed over 500 HR managers in companies on behalf of Wirtschaftswoche. The HR managers assessed the current labour market opportunities for graduates and indicated which universities and which degrees they prefer.
The business degree programmes at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg performed very well with HR managers. They are among the top 10 in the universities of applied sciences category in the ranking.
In the Business Administration (BWL) degree programme, Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg maintained its 7th place from the previous year. There are only three other universities of applied sciences from NRW in the top 10 in this category: Cologne UAS (ranked 2nd), ISM Dortmund/Frankfurt/Munich (ranked 5th), Münster UAS (ranked 9th).
In business informatics, HR managers see Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg in the top 10 for the first time in 9th place. Only two other UASs from NRW are represented here: Cologne UAS (ranked 7th) and Dortmund UAS (ranked 10th).
The improved job prospects predicted by HR managers for 2011 are also positive for all graduates. 85 per cent of HR managers believe that career starters have good or even very good prospects on the job market this year.
