Top marks for Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (H-BRS) in the university ranking of the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE): the subject of Business Psychology received excellent ratings from students. The subject of Business Administration (BWL) also scored very well.

In the ranking, which is published today in the ZEIT Study Guide, this time the subjects of Business Administration, Economics, Management Sciences, Business Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Law, Social Work and, for the first time, Business Psychology were analysed.

Best values for business psychology

H-BRS offers the Business Psychology programme at its Rheinbach location. 560 students were enrolled there at the time of the survey. The subject received top marks in the various categories surveyed for the ranking. This applies to the general study situation as well as, for example, support at the start of studies, contact with professional practice (Bachelor), supervision by lecturers and subject-specific facilities. H-BRS occupies top positions in the ranking. A total of 42 universities of applied sciences from all over Germany were assessed in the subject of business psychology.

Business administration and business informatics are top

H-BRS is also in the top group in the ranking for business studies. The Sankt Augustin (1470 students) and Rheinbach (730 students) campuses were roughly on a par. Very good marks were awarded in particular for the assessment of the general study situation and the supervision provided by lecturers. Well over 100 universities of applied sciences were included in the evaluation in the subject of business studies.

The Business Information Systems programme achieved a place in the top group of the CHE ranking in the category "Supervisor at the beginning of studies". However, the Business Information Systems degree programme at H-BRS is part of the Department of Computer Science. At the time of the survey, just under 600 students were enrolled on the Business Informatics programme. This subject had already performed well in the current university ranking by "Wirtschaftswoche". This focussed on career opportunities for university graduates in German companies. The survey of 590 HR managers revealed that applicants from the H-BRS ranks are readily recruited

In the CHE ranking, the general facilities at H-BRS also received positive ratings: Students gave very high marks to the University and District Library, the IT infrastructure and the rooms.
