Team Building

The Building Team is the central coordination office of the H-BRS for construction measures of new and conversion projects and maintenance measures.

The aim is to provide space that meets demand, to ensure the general operational safety of the buildings and to create optimal building-technical conditions for research and teaching. The Building Team supports and advises the departments in the planning and organisation of building measures and implements them.

Zu den Aufgaben des Teams Bauen gehören insbesondere:

• Adaptations in existing buildings due to technical requirements of the divisions or legal requirements
• Implementation of construction measures, construction of new buildings, extensions and conversions including building permits and changes of use
• Renovation and modernisation measures in existing buildings
• Repairs and troubleshooting of structural installations during operation
• Commissioning external companies in the area of buildings, including coordination when using several external companies, instructing the external companies and assisting with the issuing of permits.
• Supporting the branches in the use of external companies and in the planning of structural changes
• Testing and maintenance of technical building systems (such as fire doors or safety barriers) including documentation
