Alumni work is an essential responsibility assumed by universities. It is not least a question of university culture to support ex-students who have entrusted important years of their education to a university.

However, alumni work can only be successful as long as ex-students have built suffiently strong ties with "their" University. For this reason, alumni work starts as early as on the first day of your studies. Only if it succeeds in orienting all activities towards the joint objective of building lasting relationships between its alumni right from the beginning of your studies, can your University reach its ambitious goals of linking alumni and alumini organisations as well as creating attractive offers for ex-students.

Alumni not only include university graduates or students who have failed to complete their degree courses, but also the current students in the literal sense of "alumnus" (pupil).
