What is Apollo?

Apollo is the campus management system of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (H-BRS), where you can register and deregister for examinations, view your grade transcript and certificates.

You will find the details here.

How do I deregister for an exam?

Deregistration is done via Apollo. You can deregister from the exam from any PC. You can find instructions for deregistration here.
The deadline for deregistration is one week before the exam, to the minute. For example, if an exam takes place on Monday, July 15 from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m., you can cancel your registration until Monday, July 8 at 7:59 a.m.. The exact deregistration deadline is displayed in Apollo for each exam if you click on the icon with the red arrow for an exam. The system then displays the deadline for deregistration. You then decide whether you really want to deregister or not.
Deregistration can be done only once per module! Please see also Exams and more.

Students are free to take more than the number of Wahlpflichtfächern (WPFs) specified in the examination regulations.

How are the credit points credited if I take more than the number of Wahlpflichtfächern (WPFs) (Elective Courses A) required by the curriculum?

Wahlpflichtfächer (WPFs) are credited in the order in which they were taken. If more WPFs are taken than required by the examination regulations, all further WPFs are recorded as 'voluntary additional work'. Currently, up to three voluntary additional achievements can be listed on the certificate. In justified exceptional cases, a different order of WPFs or voluntary additional achievements may be determined upon application to the examination board of the department.
