Networking event of international alumni, graduates and students in a warm pre-holiday atmosphere

Anyone who has come from abroad to Germany to study and wants to work and live in Germany permanently faces a number of non-technical challenges. At this event, alumni with an international background who have successfully entered the German job market share their experiences with international graduates and students from higher semesters.

At this exclusive event, eight international graduates of H-BRS who are now working in companies and organizations in Germany will share their experiences with international students and young graduates and answer their questions.

How do I successfully apply for a promising position in Germany? What role does my international background play, what advantages does it bring me - and what disadvantages should I expect? Which experiences should I already make as a student? What do “typical German” employers expect? How important is German, how important are other (language) skills? How do I deal with formalities, such as mandatory insurance?

In a pleasant pre-holiday atmosphere with drinks and snacks, you will have the opportunity for intensive discussions with all alumni.

The event is a joint project between the university's Alumni Office and ‘Bridge to Success’ in the International Office, connecting international talents with regional career opportunities and enhancing the integration of skilled professionals in Germany, funded by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service).
