Medical tourism research project is ‘Selected Place 2011’
As part of the conference on medical tourism "Drehscheibe med in Germany: Medizinreisen von und nach Deutschland" (September 13, 2011, 10 am to 4 pm), the research project on medical tourism in Germany receives the "Selected Landmark 2011" award.
In this project, the Department of Economics Sankt Augustin at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences provides important foundations for clinics, ministries and companies through studies, consultations and events, and taps into attractive potential in a lucrative market. We cordially invite media representatives to the award ceremony as "Selected Place 2011" on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at 12 noon in the Audimax of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences Grantham-Allee 20 in 53757 Sankt Augustin. The award will be accepted by Jens Juszczak, research assistant in the Department of Economics at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, from Franz-Josef Conrad (Deutsche Bank). Marlis Bredehorst, State Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Emancipation, Care and Ageing of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, will give a welcoming address. The award-winning project is one of the prize-winners in the "365 Landmarks in the Land of Ideas" competition, which was organized for the first time in 2005 by the "Germany - Land of Ideas" initiative in cooperation with Deutsche Bank. Prizes are awarded for ideas and projects that contribute to Germany's future viability. The patron is Federal President Christian Wulff.
