District patrons

As a library closely connected to the local community, we would like to extend a warm welcome to our local patrons. At our library, you will not only find a wealth of literature and specialised information, but also a variety of services designed to best meet your needs.

Our services:

1. Lending service: Come peruse our extensive collection of books and magazines. On both campuses, we offer you a Literaturkabinett, a special area for novels, poetry and everything fictional, as well as daily newspapers. In addition, patrons are granted access to (scientific) journals, e.g. “Der Spiegel” or “Stiftung Warentest”. You can also use all services offered by the Rhein-Sieg-Onleihe free of additional charges.
2. Support for your research: To support your research or academic endeavours, our expert staff is at your service. We offer workshops on information literacy, individual tutoring as well as on a variety of online databases and electronic resources.
3. Events and workshops: Be part of the vivid library community! We regularly offer workshops, talks and literary events on a variety of different topics and themes, relevant for students, researchers and district patrons alike.
4. Digital library: Use our digital resources and offerings. Your library card grants you access to e-books, e-journals, databases and other online materials to support you individual information needs.
