TOFI scholarship recipients share their international experiences at H-BRS
The TOFI scholarship supports study abroad experiences at selected partner universities, including the Federal University of Technology Parana (UTFPR) in Brazil, the University of Cape Coast (UCC) in Ghana, the German Jordanian University (GJU) in Jordan, and the Institute of Finance and Management (IFM) in Tanzania. Students from H-BRS have the opportunity to complete internships or study abroad at partner universities, while students from TOFI partner institutions have the chance to study for a semester at H-BRS or complete an internship. The main goal of the scholarship is to emphasize the attractiveness of studying abroad at our exciting TOFI partner universities and to open up new perspectives without financial concerns getting in the way.
During the past winter semester, we were able to support one student from Brazil and four students from Jordan at H-BRS through the TOFI scholarship. Since September 2023, they have participated in courses in various fields and actively contributed to research projects. Finally, on February 6th, the final meeting with the scholarship recipients took place, during which they shared their experiences and impressions of their stay at H-BRS. They particularly emphasized the cultural exchange and the variety of events that allowed them to make valuable connections. Both academically and personally, they had a wonderful time in Germany and would definitely recommend studying at H-BRS.
We wish the scholarship recipients continued success on their academic journey and look forward to welcoming more students from Brazil, Ghana, Jordan, and Tanzania to H-BRS in the future.
