Vice President International Affairs and Diversity (VP3)
H-BRS Delegation at international University conference and exhibition EAIE in Rotterdam
During the three days of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) conference, over 40 discussions were held with international universities from Europe, Asia, North America and Australia, both with existing as well as potential new partners.
From numerous sessions on topics such as Africa and the Balkan region, colleagues took away new incentives for cooperation, strategic partnerships and Internationalisation@Home.
The programme offered plenty of opportunities for networking, whether at the 'Netwalking - Every litter bit helps!' waste collection campaign at the port of Rotterdam or at the numerous receptions on offer, such as the "Internationalisation at Home & Language and Culture Reception".
Four colleagues gratefully received partial funding for their participation through the "Competence Internationalisation" programme of the Vice President for International Affairs and Diversity.
Next year, France will host the 34th EAIE conference and exhibition in Toulouse.
