The application procedure for most degree programmes with restricted admission in the winter semester 2023/2024 runs until Saturday, 15 July 2023.

What do I want to study? Overview of our bachelor's degree programmes

H-BRS offers a total of 20 bachelor's degree programmes from the faculties of Applied Natural Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Technical Journalism, Computer Science, Social Policy and Social Security, and Management Sciences for the winter semester 2023/2024. Admission varies depending on whether a degree programme is free or restricted.

Five of the degree programmes are dual or cooperative variants, which means that you need a contract of apprenticeship with an employer.

Hands-on and application-oriented

All bachelor's degree programmes at H-BRS are geared towards the needs of professional practice and offer a solid foundation for a later career in business, science or society.

Degree programmes with restricted admissions

An application is required for degree programmes with restricted admission. This is done via the so-called dialogue-oriented service procedure (DoSV): First you register on the website hochschulstart.de (German). With the access data available there, you can then start your application on the H-BRS application portal Apollo (German). The application deadline for degree programmes with restricted admission is 15 July 2023.

Degree programmes with open admission

On the other hand, you can enrol directly for degree programmes with open admissions without having to apply first. This is also done online via the H-BRS application portal Apollo. It is indicated there which degree programmes are free of admission.
