The partnership between the Department of Computer Science at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences and the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of New Brunswick in Canada has existed for over 15 years.
The Barrett Chair is located in the Faculty of Computer Science (FCS) with the aim of advancing digital progress in New Brunswick. The focus will not only be on fostering entrepreneurship, it will also coordinate applied research groups, new experimental learning opportunities with a focus on innovation and start-up culture.
This may also provide opportunities to advance joint research projects between UNB and H-BRS. Kent was recently at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, where he regularly lectures and participates in research projects at IVC.
We wish Prof. Dr. Ken Kent every success in his new tasks!
