Protecting ideas - how?

Tuesday 26 August 2014

The protection of inventions from academic research is becoming increasingly important - not only for commercial exploitation, but also for the academic record of a scientist. Bonn-Rhein-Sieg university's Graduate Institute, jointly with the Science and Technology Transfer Center, offer a 1 1/2 hour seminar on patents: When (and why) can patents be useful, and what is the formal procedure to obtain one. The seminar is open everybody interested in the topic, including students, PH.D. candidates and University staff. Please let us know you're coming at gi@h-brs.de. Depending on the audience, we will try to accommodate German speakers as well as English speakers.
