Delegation from Hunan at President Ihne’s

Last week a delegation from Hunan University, China, making various stops in Germany, also visited Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University. The two partner universities currently collaborate within the framework of the 2+2 programme, which enables students from Hunan University to obtain a dual degree in Business Administration.

Vice President Dr Qiang Zhang was a guest at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University - along with the deans of the institutes for the Master’s degree programme as well as colleagues from the Center for International Studies and the Office of Academic Affairs. They were informed about the development of the programme by Prof. Dr Jürgen Bode, the initiator of the 2+2 programme. They also heard first-hand reports on the experiences gained by Chinese students who have been living in Germany and studying at Rheinbach for one or two years.

Against this background, University President Hartmut Ihne mentioned the possibility that the existing cooperation might be expanded within the University.
