Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg welcomes five new trainees

At Sankt Augustin Campus, the university trains office management clerks, a profession that Marcel Bleibtreu has opted for. Florian Wolf has started his training as an IT specialist for system integration. In Rheinbach, Elisabeth Dimitrakopoulou is being trained as a biology laboratory assistant and Enrica Frank as a chemistry laboratory assistant. There is also a new trainee at the University and District Library: Lea Hahne would like to become a media and information services specialist. She will be learning her trade both in Sankt Augustin and at the library in Rheinbach.

"We want to offer the five young people the best possible start to their professional future with the sound and practice-orientated training at the higher education institution. I am delighted to be able to accompany the new trainees on their journey and lay the foundations for their careers together," says training coordinator Denise Nuffer. She has now met the quintet with Chancellor Angela Fischer at the Sankt Augustin campus to exchange ideas and get to know them better.

Young people have been able to obtain a vocational qualification as a biology laboratory technician or chemical laboratory technician at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg since 2006. H-BRS also trains office management assistants, media and information services specialists and IT specialists. There are currently 21 men and women undergoing training at the Sankt Augustin and Rheinbach sites.
