Students design official video graphics of the university

Felix Reinhardt and Casimir Ruttka from the Visual Technical Communication programme have designed the new video graphics for the H-BRS. From now on, their works - intros, outros, dividers, lower thirds and openers - will be used in all of the university's video products.

The graphics were created in the course "After Effects". The students were asked to design various video graphics according to the corporate design specifications of the H-BRS. The Communications and Marketing Department found the designs so successful that they encouraged the two students to develop the designs further.

"The results of the two can compete with those of a professional agency. It is impressive to see the talent and eagerness with which the students have proceeded here. The graphics give our videos a new, fresh look," says Esther Hummel, Head of Film Editing at H-BRS.

Sandra Preuß, Corporate Design Officer at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, Dominik Pieper, Head of Communications and Marketing, and Esther Hummel thanked the students personally. They had already been awarded a special prize for their designs at the previous film festival of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Technical Journalism.
