Friday 11 October 2024

With the start of the new semester and the return of many students and staff, there is once again great parking pressure on the Sankt Augustin campus. In order to ensure safety and order in the parking lots, the university management asks all university members to be considerate and comply with the applicable parking rules. Vehicles that are not parked in the appropriate parking spaces will be towed away for a fee from Monday, 14 October 2024.

Parking regulations

Only park in the marked areas and make sure that your vehicle does not take up two parking spaces.

The access routes for emergency and fire department vehicles and the corresponding set-up areas must remain clear at all times. From Monday, 14 October 2024, vehicles blocking these areas will be towed away for a fee.

Footpaths must also be kept clear so as not to obstruct pedestrians.

The parent-child parking spaces may only be used with a special parking permit. University members with children can obtain this from the Equal Opportunities Office in room C 005.

Alternatives

An alternative parking option is the nearby Huma shopping center, where parking spaces can be rented for 35 euros (net) per month. Use is possible from Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a minimum rental period of six months. If you are interested, please contact Centermanagement GmbH directly (info@huma.de).

We would like to thank all those who are already adhering to the traffic regulations and hope that all members of the university will show understanding and consideration.
